Operating Procedure
When a vehicle arrives, the driver positions the car on an available pallet at the ground level. After switching off the engine, the driver exits the parking area and initiates the parking command using a control panel, access card, or keypad. The system identifies an available parking slot, including those located in the pit level.
To accommodate the vehicle, the system rearranges pallets by sliding them horizontally on the same level and lifting or lowering pallets vertically using electric motors and chain or wire rope mechanisms. If the assigned slot is in the pit, the pallet carrying the vehicle is smoothly lowered below ground level. All movements occur sequentially and automatically to ensure safety and accuracy.
Vehicle Storage in Pit Level
The pit level is designed with proper drainage, waterproofing, and structural reinforcement to safely accommodate vehicles below ground. Once the pallet reaches the designated pit slot, it is securely locked using mechanical locks and anti-fall devices. Guide rails ensure precise alignment, while sensors continuously monitor position, load, and clearance. The vehicle remains safely stored until retrieval is requested.
To retrieve the vehicle, the user enters the parking number or uses an access card at the control panel. The control system calculates the shortest and safest movement path. Pallets blocking the requested vehicle are moved horizontally or vertically using the empty slot. The vehicle pallet is then lifted from the pit level to the ground level or shifted from upper levels accordingly.
Once the pallet reaches the exit position at ground level, the system stops automatically and provides an audio or visual signal. The driver can then enter the vehicle and exit the parking area safely.
The three-level pit puzzle car parking system is an intelligent and space-efficient parking solution for modern urban infrastructure. By combining underground pit utilization with puzzle-based vertical and horizontal movement, it delivers high parking capacity, safety, and operational efficiency. Its well-coordinated working procedure makes it a reliable choice for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Safety and Control Features
The three-level pit puzzle parking system is equipped with advanced safety features such as photoelectric sensors, limit switches, overload protection, emergency stop buttons, anti-drop locks, and interlock systems. These features prevent misoperation, ensure structural safety, and protect both vehicles and users. The PLC control system continuously monitors all movements and halts operation in case of abnormal conditions.
